Tonight, the Minnesota Lynx go for Championship number 4 in 6 years !

As fans of Minnesota sports teams, we are known to occasionally complain (totally justified) about our squads failing to meet expectations, being flat out terrible, or breaking/shattering our hearts.

There is one team however that has totally taken the stigma of losing and has decided to morph into one of the greatest dynasties in team sports.

That team is the Minnesota Lynx.

This Lynx nucleus of Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen, Seimone Augustus, Rebekkah Brunson, and Cheryl Reeve have teamed up for 3 WNBA titles and on Thursday night they will be looking for their 4th title in SIX years. That my friends is a dynasty.

Personally, I thought last year was going to be it for this squad. With 80% of the starting unit over 30 years old, it seemed like the 2015 squad was going to be the last time this team was on top.

I was wrong. And this time I loved being wrong!

This season the Lynx cruised through the season going a league best 28-6, then whipped Phoenix in three straight games and have finally found themselves in a real battle with the LA Sparks. It's been a fun ride and there is one game left to decide it all.

Tune in Tonight

So tonight at 7:00 pm Central, turn on either ESPN2 or tune your radios to 106.1 FM and listen to John Focke announce history as this squad looks to win their 4th title. This is a dynasty and they are OUR DYNASTY!
